On October 19, the National Energy Administration released data such as electricity consumption in the whole society in September.

 

In September, the country consumed 847.5 billion KWH of electricity, up 8.5 percent year on year. In terms of electricity consumption by industry, the electricity consumption of the primary industry was 12.1 billion KWH, an increase of 6.4%. Electricity consumption in the secondary industry was 537.9 billion KWH, up 3.6 percent year on year; The tertiary industry consumed 165.2 billion KWH, up 12.7% year on year; Domestic electricity consumption of urban and rural residents was 132.3 billion KWH, up 27.8 percent year on year.

 

From January to September, the total electricity consumption of the whole society was 7,409.4 billion KWH, an increase of 7.9% year-on-year, of which 7,056 billion KWH of industrial power generation was above scale. In terms of electricity consumption by industry, the primary industry consumed 103.5 billion KWH, up 6.9% year on year; Electricity consumption in the secondary industry was 4,738.5 billion KWH, up 5.9% year on year; The tertiary industry consumed 1,395.3 billion KWH of electricity, up by 11.2% year on year; The domestic electricity consumption of urban and rural residents was 1,172.1 billion KWH, up 12.6 percent year on year.
