Shi Ying, Vice Chairman of the China Coal Transportation and Sales Association and Director of the Coking Coal Special Committee, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. He Haitao, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of Wuhai Energy, part of the National Energy Group, also delivered a speech. Twenty-six influential coking coal enterprises with high production capacity and ranking in the domestic coking coal industry attended the conference. The meeting was chaired by Guo Lijuan, Secretary General of the Coking Coal Special Committee.
At the meeting, the China Coal Transportation and Sales Association introduced the Coking Coal Special Committee and awarded licenses to its member units. Experts from the Coal Resources Network analyzed and forecasted the coking coal market. Representatives of participating companies introduced their enterprises, discussed the current market supply and demand situation and existing problems, and offered suggestions for the work of the Coking Coal Special Committee. The theme of the conference was "New Starting Point, New Model, New Requirements."

The meeting emphasized that the decision of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee identified this period as critical for promoting the construction of a powerful country and national rejuvenation through a Chinese path to modernization, positioning the Coking Coal Special Committee at a new starting point. It highlighted the need to create a new working model for the committee, comprehensively reform the organizational structure, and establish a new pattern that prepares for the future.
The meeting underscored the need for reforms in the working mechanism, focusing on market-oriented principles; regular discussions on market mechanisms; establishing a coking coal analyst alliance; guiding market expectations; enhancing consensus; safeguarding rights and interests; and promoting market fairness. It also called for deepening international cooperation and enhancing the development and utilization of coking coal resources based on solid research, while strengthening cooperation among member units and along the industrial chain.

The meeting noted the necessity of implementing new requirements for the transportation and sales of coking coal, emphasizing effective supply management and the establishment of integrity among enterprises. It stressed that the principle of equal treatment should be adhered to, ensuring that the Coking Coal Special Committee treats enterprises of different ownerships equitably to mobilize enthusiasm across the board.
Lastly, the meeting proposed that the Coking Coal Special Committee serves as a common home for member enterprises, emphasizing unity in times of market difficulties to advance its work and contribute to the coking coal industry.
