From July 23rd to 26th, Min Wei, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of Jining Energy Group, led a team to conduct research at Anhui Port and Shipping Group. Accompanied by Ding Qingling, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Anhui Port and Shipping Group, and other relevant company leaders, they visited 11 ports in Ma'anshan, Hefei, Wuhu, Anqing, Tongling and held discussions and exchanges on deepening cooperation comprehensively.

Since its reorganization in December 2018, Anhui Port and Shipping Group has integrated the port and shipping resources of the entire province of Anhui. Its affiliated ports are mainly distributed in the five cities along the Yangtze River, as well as cities such as Hefei and Bengbu. It has all the water transportation and foreign trade port facilities in Anhui and the last 10000 ton deep water port line resources upstream of the river. It has the geographical advantage of developing river sea intermodal transportation and radiating to the upper and middle reaches of the Yangtze River and the central and western regions. It has a port coastline of 21.47 kilometers, 181 berths (including under construction), and an annual throughput capacity of 150 million tons.

In 2023, Anhui Port and Shipping Group will complete 2.7 million TEUs of containers and have an annual roll on/roll off capacity of 450000 vehicles. Especially after the completion of the "Yangtze River to Huaihe River" project, it has formed a huge advantage in the inland river area.

The inspection and exchange conducted by the research team of Jining Energy Group is of great significance for both sides to fully leverage the resource advantages of the two places and further deepen cooperation in the fields of bulk commodity trade such as steel, grain, coal, shipbuilding, logistics and transportation.

In the past two years, the exchange and cooperation between the two sides have become increasingly close, establishing a deep friendship and injecting strong momentum into the development of the inland port and shipping industry. This survey will further deepen the consensus. Next, both parties will establish a working group and establish a regular consultation mechanism to promote cooperation towards a larger scope, wider fields, and deeper levels, and achieve mutually beneficial and win-win development.

The relevant departments of the group headquarters and the responsible persons of the relevant ownership enterprises participated in the event.
