Since the beginning of this year, the Party Committee of Yiqiao Coal Mine has fully leveraged the leadership role of the party organization. It has integrated party-building work into all aspects of the enterprise's production and management, revitalized and consolidated momentum, built a strong grassroots party organization, and developed the "root pulse" and "soul pulse" of state-owned enterprises, thereby consolidating the development of "heart" kinetic energy.
Building a Strong Fort and Consolidating the Base
The Party Committee of Yiqiao Coal Mine adheres to the principle of organically uniting system concepts, problem orientation, and effective practice. It has established a party-building concept, system, activities, and work system centered on the "five promotions and five guidances." This includes a "secretary grasps, grasps secretary" model, a monthly task list for grassroots party organization secretaries, and a system of monthly performance displays and quarterly assessments. The construction of the branch fort is executed with great attention to detail.
"The standardization of the branch is fundamental to building the party organization. We have made significant efforts to standardize the first-line party branches. We have achieved 100% coverage with the 13 branches of the mine, implemented 'one branch, one university branch,' and efficiently and orderly promoted the work. Of these, 5 party branches have been rated as 'five-star party branches' in the city's state-owned assets system," introduced Shi Shuqiang, Secretary of the mine's Discipline Inspection Committee and Deputy General Manager.
Typical Guidance to Stimulate Vitality
"The mining Party Committee will integrate party-building work into the production site, key projects, and team construction. It will innovate and carry out typical tree selection activities, striving to cultivate excellent party members, build effective positions, establish good mechanisms, and set up exemplary models. This will ensure that the party organization plays a strong guiding role, manages the overall situation, ensures implementation, and promotes the comprehensive development of the enterprise," stated Kang Landong, Head of the Political Engineering Department of Yiwu Bridge Coal Mine. The Party Committee gives full play to the exemplary role of party members, strengthens the construction of the party member team, and establishes the "Party Leader Team" and "Youth Team." By conducting skill competitions and other diverse activities, it creates a competitive atmosphere and builds a team of party members with strong political awareness, excellent style, and superb skills.
From January to August this year, the mine conducted selection activities for "Vanguard Party Members," "Excellent Workers," "Excellent Communist Party Members," and "Excellent Party Workers," electing 96 advanced individuals. Various activities, such as "Party Language and Party Expressions in One Sentence" and "Party Member Story Meetings," were carried out. Eighteen works were collected from the "Party Member Story Meetings," and over 50 party members participated in the "Party Language and Party Expressions in One Sentence" activities. Publicity platforms, such as public accounts and broadcasting, were utilized to showcase the exemplary role of party members, making them communicators of ideas, inheritors of skills, leaders of innovation, and demonstrators of action.
Devote Effort, Condense Internal Power
Since the beginning of this year, the Party Committee of Yiqiao Coal Mine has deeply practiced the "first-line work method," with party members and cadres addressing problems directly at the front line. They have engaged in over 630 heart-to-heart talks with workers to accurately gauge their needs. The "Red Backpack" operation was carried out three times, and a "summer cooling" activity was held in early June. Party volunteers from the logistics team took turns delivering cooling and summer-relief supplies to front-line workers at the wellhead. Additionally, "Heart Stations" and "Staff Classrooms" were established to further promote "three posts to help safety," allowing party members' demonstration posts and youth safety posts to take an active role in ensuring safety. These measures have transformed the invisible force of party-building into tangible guidance for team construction and management, promoting actual work.
"This year, the mining Party Committee formulated a list of 'Ten People's Livelihood Facts,' prioritizing issues closely related to staff, such as optimizing the working and living environment, and providing medical security. Measures included installing a refrigerator at the 3309 work face, building a self-service car wash for staff, and conducting post-condolence activities. These initiatives are part of our commitment to 'doing practical things for employees,' further enhancing the confidence and determination of the majority of cadres and staff to innovate and develop, thus creating a 'new impetus' for enterprise growth."
