In October, as autumn arrives in Jingchu, Zhang Guangyu, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Jining Energy Group, led a team to Hubei Port Group for discussions on cooperation. On October 9, he met with He Xianli, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of Hubei Port Group, to explore deepening practical collaboration.
He Xianli warmly welcomed Zhang Guangyu and his delegation, introducing the development history of Hubei Port Group and the cooperation between the two organizations. He emphasized that Hubei Port Group attaches great importance to its business partnership with Jining Energy Group. Since 2021, both sides have worked together to achieve interconnection between the Yangtze River and the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, providing strong support for the business system and logistics supply chain along these major logistics channels. He expressed hope that both sides would continue to maintain close communication, strengthen alignment of development strategies, deepen cooperation, and establish a new framework for high-quality collaboration based on mutual benefit and complementarity.
Zhang Guangyu detailed Jining Energy Group's business segments and long-term planning. He noted that in recent years, a deep friendship has developed between Jining Energy Group and Hubei Port Group, highlighting their complementary resource advantages and industrial chain interworking as a solid foundation for cooperation. He expressed hope that both sides would innovate their cooperation approach, jointly hold a business promotion meeting, leverage Wuhan's location advantages as a focus for market development, expand the variety of goods traded, open major logistics and transportation channels in Hubei, and enhance cooperation in cargo reflux, new energy ship manufacturing, financial trade, and warehousing and logistics, contributing more to regional economic development.
